Goodbye Summer

{Sadly I can't take credit for this photo}

Summer is over.
 Monet started school last week and Kyle started football 3 weeks ago.
He has his first game this weekend.
Go Cal Poly!!
Summer went by so so fast, but we had fun and made many new memories that we will always hold close.
With Kyle having football and Monet being in school I have mornings free.
I am loving it.

I am ready for Fall!
I love the weather {which is crisp}, the clothes and most of all the smells.
It might be my favorite season.
Kyle took me shopping this weekend to get some new clothes.
I kept telling him since there is a new season coming that I needed new "Fall clothes"
 Then a day later we got a J. Crew card in the mail, it said:

NEW SEASON. NEW CLOTHES.
{not that you need an excuse}

We thought that it was pretty funny.
Fit me perfect

I can't wait to get my Fall decor out, for the leaves to start changing and to have our apartment smell of Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies

{no credit for this one either}

San Diego

I am just now finding time to blog about our fun trip to San Diego
We met my family there and enjoyed ourselves for a week

We spent a lot of time at the beach

The water was much warmer than San Luis Obispo water,
so we were able to swim and boogie board
My sister Lacie and I even managed to be rescued by a lifeguard ;)

My favorite place was Sea World
If we ever live in San Diego I will get a season pass there- I loved it
I told Kyle when I'm old and can't remember anything to just take me and drop me off at Sea World for the day and let me watch the shows!
It so incredible what those whales, dolphins, seals and sea otters can do!

Dave and Linda came down for two days and went to Sea World and Old Town San Diego with us

The Mormon Battalion was so interesting
and Old Town San Diego was fun
I loved all the cute old shops

We went to the San Diego temple and did a session
Lacie, Ashley and Shanna did baptisms
It was so beautiful inside and so unique

We loved swimming and loved the beach
Which is where most of our time was spent
{WARNING- lots of pictures}

And we did enjoy some delicious Pink Berry

YOLO

{Us girls had way too much fun taking jumping pictures}
Kyle was even a good sport

San Diego was a great way to end our short summer. We loved everything about it. We are so blessed to have such an awesome family that made our vacation perfect!!
